J.R. DeLang

With more than two decades of production and post production video management experience, J.R. DeLang is a recognized leader in the media and entertainment space. Most recently, Mr. DeLang served as Twentieth Century Fox’s Executive Vice President of Studio and Post Production Operations. In addition to managing day-to-day operations on the studio’s Los Angeles and Sydney Lots, he was responsible for the delivery of all Fox TV and Feature Film assets worldwide.  Mr. DeLang also oversaw the design, building and implementation of Fox Media Services in-house digital vault and delivery system. Prior to Fox, Mr. DeLang was Chief Operations Officer for The Todd-AO Corporation, an independent TV and film post production company. Additionally, Mr. DeLang is a member of the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (where he has served on the Executive Sound Branch Committee) and the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.

Andrew Flett

Andrew Flett has been with Investcorp since 1998 and sits on the boards of FleetMatics, Magnum Semiconductor, and Wells-CTI.

Mr. Flett holds a BEng in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Victoria, British Columbia, Canada and an MBA in Finance from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania.

Glenn Luk

Glenn Luk is a Principal of Investcorp International Inc. based in New York and has been with the firm since 2005.  Prior to Investcorp, he was with Deutsche Bank based in New York where he focused on leveraged finance.  Previous to that, Mr. Luk was based in Hong Kong and focused on mergers and acquisitions advisory in Greater China, Korea and Japan.  Mr. Luk is currently a board director of Kentrox Inc., OpSec Security Group plc and Wireless Telecom Group Inc.   Mr. Luk graduated with a dual degree from the University of Pennsylvania, and holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Wharton with concentrations in Finance and Information Systems and a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science Engineering.

Robert F. Perille

Robert Perille is a Partner at Shamrock Capital Advisors and has over 19 years of media, entertainment, and communications investment experience.  Mr. Perille currently serves on the Boards of Directors of Publishing Group of America, Harlem Globetrotters International and T3Media.  Previously, he served on the boards of NextWave Media Group, Ocean Design, and Tandus.

Prior to joining Shamrock in 2004, Mr. Perille was a Managing Partner for Banc of America Capital Investors, a $700 million private equity and mezzanine partnership. He also spent 23 years with Bank of America in commercial banking, investment banking, leveraged finance and principal investing.

Jeffrey T. Diehl

Jeffrey Diehl is a partner at Adams Street Partners and invests in venture and growth-oriented companies in the software, IT-enabled services, and business services sectors. Mr. Diehl serves on the Boards of Directors of Adams Harris, MachineryLink, MxLogic, SnagAJob, StrataVia and T3Media. He is a Board Observer at Knightsbridge Solutions, NetContinuum and SPS Commerce. He has also been involved with American Wholesale Insurance, Bantek, BirdsEye, E4X, Gevity HR (NASDAQ: GVHR), Kappa Smurfit, Setanta and Scientific Protein Labs investments.

Before joining Adams Street in 2000, Mr. Diehl served as a Principal for The Parthenon Group, a Boston-based strategy consulting and principal investing firm with Bain Consulting roots. At Parthenon, Mr. Diehl led strategy consulting case teams for small and mid-cap clients in a range of industries, including business and consumer services, software, communications and networking, and financial services. In addition, Mr. Diehl executed LBO due diligence assignments and advised portfolio companies for Parthenon Capital, a $350 million private equity fund. Prior to Parthenon, Mr. Diehl served as a management consultant for Spire Group, a boutique consulting firm focused on advising business and consumer service firms in the Fortune 500.

Mr. Diehl is a member of the Adams Street Partners Direct Sub-Committee and the NVCA.

Steve Joanis

As the former President of T3Media, Steve Joanis was responsible for overall operations of the company, including management of its overseas operations. Prior to T3Media, he was the CFO of Ischemia Technologies, a venture-backed medical diagnostic company in Denver. Subsequent to Ischemia, Mr. Joanis was a venture capitalist, first with Roser Ventures in Boulder, Colorado, and then with Wolf Ventures in Denver. Prior to joining Roser in 1998, he was a management consultant with The LEK Partnership, based first in London and then in Chicago, specializing in mergers and acquisitions. Prior to business school, he was a captain in the army, where he served as a helicopter pilot in several international and domestic assignments, including the Gulf War. Mr. Joanis has an MBA from Wharton and a BS from the United States Military Academy at West Point.

Kevin Schaff

Kevin Schaff has set the vision for T3Media’s growth since founding it in 2003 and is responsible for overall strategy and business development across the company’s two business lines—Platform and Licensing. With more than 15 years of experience in building successful technology companies, Mr. Schaff has been an industry leader in creating new models for access and value for large-scale sports, news and entertainment libraries.

Prior to T3Media, Mr. Schaff founded UPDATE Systems, Inc., an email marketing software company, that he later sold to Webb Interactive Services (Nasdaq: WEBB)—a provider of infrastructure services for Internet commerce. Earlier in his career, he founded Wind River Communications Inc., a national design and Internet development firm. Mr. Schaff successfully negotiated the sale of Wind River Communications Inc. in 1999. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in business communications from the University of Wyoming.

Kirk Holland

Kirk Holland is a General Partner at Vista Ventures, a $75 million Colorado-based venture capital firm specializing in early and growth-stage investments in information technology, communications and internet media and data services in the Rocky Mountain region. Mr. Holland has broad operating experience in business development, sales and marketing, engineering, and operations with companies such as Procter & Gamble, Sprint, and Jupiter Media. He was also an investment banker in Piper Jaffray’s Enterprise Software and Internet Media Group, where he was involved in equity offerings and mergers and acquisitions. Previously, Mr. Holland was a Vice President at Jupiter Media Venture Funds, where he led information technology and internet media investments.

Mr. Holland received his B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Washington and an MBA from Stanford University. He currently serves on the boards of MX Logic, Umbria, Strion Air, Stratavia, Rally Software and T3Media. He is also on the board of the Colorado Venture Capital Association, the I Have A Dream Foundation of Boulder County and the CU Business School Deming Center for Entrepreneurship. Mr. Holland lives in Louisville, Colorado with his wife, Deborah, and two daughters, Sarah and Samantha.

Andrew J. Howard (observer)

Andrew Howard is a Partner at Shamrock Capital Advisors and has over 13 years of media, entertainment, and communications investment experience.  Mr. Howard currently serves as a director of Screenvision, K2 Towers, Publishing Group of America and as an Observer on the Board of T3Media. Previously, he served on the Boards of Directors of RealD, Naylor Publications, PrimeCo Wireless, and BASE Entertainment and was a board observer of MetroPCS and OpNext.  Mr. Howard is on the Board of Governor’s for the USC Annenberg School – Center for the Digital Future and was previously a board member of the Association of Corporate Growth – Los Angeles. He is also an inactive member of the Screen Actors Guild and the American Federation of Television & Radio Association.

Prior to joining Shamrock in 2006, Mr. Howard was a Vice President at Clarity Partners, a media and communications focused private equity fund, where he also assumed the position of Acting President and Director of Sales of Clarity portfolio company, PrimeCo Wireless.

Tony Thomas (observer)

Tony Thomas is a Partner with Syncom Venture Partners, a venture capital firm based in Silver Spring, Maryland that invests in early stage media and communications companies primarily in underserved markets. Mr. Thomas serves as a director for a number of Syncom’s other portfolio companies including Maya Entertainment, Heatwave Interactive, Voyages North America, and Simmons Lathan Media Group.

Prior to joining Syncom, Mr. Thomas served as an Investment Analyst for the Southern California Edison Retirement Plan. While he was at Southern California Edison, Mr. Thomas was primarily responsible for directing the investment of a $150 million private equity portfolio and a $500 million international equity allocation. Prior to joining Southern California Edison, Mr. Thomas completed Wells Fargo Bank’s Loan Officer Development Program and was a Credit Analyst in the Los Angeles Regional Commercial Banking Office of Wells Fargo.

Mr. Thomas holds an MBA from Pennsylvania State University and received a B.B.A. in Accounting from Loma Linda University.
